IT Security Analyst (HealthTech)

Location: Hybrid role based within commuting distance of the Amsterdam office, Netherlands

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID end to end, including break-glass accounts and access reviews.
• Design and implement the SharePoint governance model and manage permissions beyond the end-user level.
• Execute data governance policies covering the glossary, rules, access policies, and data classification.
• Own the remediation schedule for security findings from compliance and vulnerability tooling.
• Review IT vendor relationships and propose a plan for bringing selected ownership in-house.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders while identifying unclear areas and governance gaps.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in IT administration or security operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on business experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Practical experience with SharePoint governance and permissions beyond standard end-user use.
• Exposure to data governance, access control, or data classification, plus a basic understanding of NIST and ISO 27001.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to execute a security and data governance roadmap.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vulnerability or GRC platforms.
• Exposure to an ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audit.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification.
• Experience in a regulated environment such as healthcare or fintech.
