Supply Chain Network Lead (Household Claims)

Location: Hybrid, with required travel to Liverpool and supplier offices across the UK

Salary: £65,000–£70,000 per year depending on experience, plus up to 15% annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Manage relationships and performance across a multi-supplier household claims network.
• Monitor service standards, contracts, SLAs, KPIs, customer outcomes, claims costs, and indemnity spend.
• Analyze management information, complaints, customer feedback, audits, and operational data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and track supplier improvement plans, conduct operational and business reviews, and manage escalations and service failures.
• Collaborate with claims, finance, procurement, risk, compliance, technical, and complaints teams.
• Support supplier audits, assurance, onboarding, due diligence, contract mobilization, resilience planning, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in claims supply chain, supplier management, or supplier governance.
• Strong understanding of the household claims journey and customer-focused outcomes.
• Experience managing external suppliers, performance challenges, onboarding, due diligence, and contract mobilization.
• Commercial awareness covering supplier contracts, rate cards, invoice controls, indemnity spend, leakage, and cost management.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and continuous improvement skills.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, controls, audit readiness, regulatory expectations, supplier risk, business continuity, and operational resilience.

Nice to have

• Experience with household claims suppliers, including building repair, restoration, surveying, drainage, loss adjusting, and contents providers.
• Knowledge of household perils such as escape of water, flood, fire, storm, impact, subsidence, and accidental damage.
• Experience with supplier governance, delegated authority oversight, claims systems, operational reporting, or data-visualization tools.
