Senior Product Quality Engineer (Hardware)

Location: New York, New York, based at the New York City headquarters; hybrid work arrangement with up to 30% domestic and international travel.

Base salary: $125,915–$155,294 USD per year, plus equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with cross-functional teams on early risk assessments using FMEA, NUD processes, and lessons learned.
• Develop mitigation strategies, specifications, and test plans to identify and close product risks before launch.
• Lead critical quality escalations from root cause analysis through corrective action using 8D/RCCA methods.
• Align Supplier Quality, Field Quality, Reliability, Failure Analysis, and Safety functions.
• Define, implement, and audit quality processes at final assembly and test sites through mass production and sustaining.
• Develop predictive models for warranty rates using field test and reliability data, and communicate quality risks to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or another technical discipline.
• 6+ years of product development experience, including 3+ years in a quality role for complex electromechanical products.
• Experience with New Product Introduction cycles and driving quality improvements during development.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams through business-critical quality issue resolution.
• Ability to develop specifications and test plans and translate test results into field predictions.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and quality methodologies including DOE, MSA, hypothesis testing, GR&R, and CpK.

• Advanced degree in Science or Engineering.
