Process Support Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: UK - Duxford, Cambridge; onsite at a chemical manufacturing site

Contract: Permanent. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with weekly rotating Monday-to-Friday shifts: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, and 10pm–6am.

What you will do

• Replenish consumable stock and keep production areas organised.
• Prepare materials and support labelling, run-outs, packing, and filling activities.
• Handle waste, pallets, and other practical production materials.
• Operate forklift trucks to move materials, waste, and pallets safely.
• Follow site safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse colleagues on daily operations.

Requirements

• Safe, reliable, and practical approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and perform hands-on, physically demanding tasks.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience is helpful but not essential.
