Summer 2027 Intern - Law - Mount Laurel, NJ CLC

Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States; hybrid arrangement with most work performed from the office

Salary: $33 per hour, plus a $2,000 internship stipend

An insurance organization with an in-house legal team defending the business and its customers in civil litigation.

What you will do

• Support Claims Litigation Counsel attorneys on assigned civil litigation projects.
• Attend case events and observe all phases of the litigation process.
• Conduct legal research and develop practical civil litigation skills.
• Work with attorneys and skilled support staff in a team-oriented professional environment.
• Participate in mentoring throughout the summer program.

Requirements

• Must be a 2L student enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and remain enrolled throughout the internship.
• Expected graduation year: 2028.
• Strong academic credentials are preferred.
• Strong research skills, including familiarity with Lexis, are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; work authorization sponsorship is not available.
• Most working time must be spent in the office; applicants from local-area law schools are sought.
