Associate Director Global Clinical Program Management

Location: Hybrid work with flexible home working and regular office attendance in Cambridge or Uxbridge, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Lead operational planning and delivery for multiple clinical studies and programs, managing timelines, budgets, quality, and strategic objectives.
• Identify delivery risks, coordinate course corrections, and oversee program-level issues, escalations, and resolutions.
• Drive consistent operational practices and continuous improvement across assigned studies and programs.
• Line-manage and develop Study Delivery Leads, setting objectives and supporting high performance.
• Partner with cross-functional and local execution teams on priorities, resources, study design, country selection, enrolment, diversity, and patient-centric approaches.
• Manage program budgets, vendors, forecasts, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Degree-level education.
• Experience managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience in life sciences or a medically related field, including clinical research and clinical trials at a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO company.
• Strong experience managing multiple teams or direct reports across multiple geographies.
• Experience working with or overseeing external clinical research vendors, including CROs, central laboratories, or imaging vendors.
