Associate Director, Resilience Strategic Partnerships – UK (Biotech)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom. The role follows hirify.global’s 70/30 work model, with 70% of work conducted in the office.

What you will do

• Lead execution of hirify.global UK’s government strategic plan and deliver commitments under the Long-Term Strategic Partnership.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with UKHSA, the Department of Health and Social Care, the NHS, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Represent hirify.global on the UKHSA operations board and coordinate subject-matter experts and decision-making.
• Lead matrixed teams across R&D, manufacturing, policy, public affairs, market access, contracts, legal, finance, regulatory, and HR.
• Develop integrated program plans, governance frameworks, milestones, KPIs, budgets, reports, and knowledge-management processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, coordinate interdependencies, resolve roadblocks, and ensure contractual deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree-level education; an MBA or postgraduate degree is preferred.
• Project management qualification and experience designing, delivering, executing, and governing project milestones.
• Knowledge of the UK government and UK healthcare ecosystem, including experience with DHSC, UKHSA, or NHS England.
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical operations; vaccine experience is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, systems thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, influence across matrixed teams, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• MBA or postgraduate degree.
• Experience with vaccines, agile methodologies, or lean methodologies.
