Senior Hardware Engineer for GNC (Guidance, Navigation and Control)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model with up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area. A relocation package is available for candidates moving from another country.

What you will do

• Develop complete and partial GNC systems for ambitious space missions.
• Design, verify, and integrate GNC payloads and components.
• Coordinate subcontractors involved in prototyping, design, and production of GNSS receivers and related products.
• Create PCB prototypes and designs, including multilayer boards with EMC considerations.
• Test prototypes, identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of electronics and PCB terminology.
• Proficiency with PCB design software such as Altium Designer or Eagle.
• Understanding of multilayer PCB design principles, including EMC aspects.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FPGA-based circuit design.
• Familiarity with RF path design principles.
• Research and development experience.
