TL;DR
Senior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript): Building high-quality web applications with an accent on frontend architecture, responsive accessibility, 3D visualisation, and interactive maps. Focus on developing complex data-heavy browser experiences, integrating REST APIs, and improving performance and maintainability.
Location: Remote, candidates must be based in Portugal or Brazil
Initial 6-month full-time project focused on building high-quality web applications for real-world projects.

What you will do
- Build and maintain web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Turn product requirements into technical solutions with Product, Design, Backend, and development teams.
- Improve frontend architecture, development practices, performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Use UI libraries and design systems to create consistent user experiences.
- Review code and share frontend knowledge and best practices.
- Develop browser-based 3D visualisations, interactive maps, and geospatial data features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development experience.
- Strong React, TypeScript, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience with large or complex web applications, frontend architecture, REST APIs, backend services, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser behaviour.
- Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows.
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and take responsibility for implementation quality.
- Fluent English and residence in Portugal or Brazil are required.
Nice to have
- Material UI, other component libraries, Tailwind CSS, or similar frameworks.
- Three.js, WebGL, or other browser-based 3D technologies.
- Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenLayers, or similar mapping technologies.
- Experience with large datasets, complex visualisations, frontend performance optimisation, automated testing, or Agile/Scrum.
