Intern System Software Development Engineer

Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Contribute to the design, development, and validation of system software across one or more software-stack layers.
• Support cross-stack software optimization for hirify.global platforms and technologies.
• Contribute to reference platform development for specific domains and market segments.
• Apply programming and problem-solving skills through hands-on internship projects.
• Collaborate in an environment supporting hirify.global business goals and professional development.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hands-on programming experience with Angular, Python, SQL, Postgres, C#, and Kubernetes.
• Available for an on-site internship in Penang, Malaysia.
• Available for a minimum internship period of 3 to 6 months, subject to university requirements and the academic calendar.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing systems.
