Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and develop secure sovereign cloud architectures, security frameworks, standards, policies, and controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, threat modeling, planning, implementation, and communication of security controls.
• Assess security architecture gaps and develop roadmaps to align current environments with target architectures.
• Advise NHS, government, and regulated-industry customers on security controls, policies, standards, and remediation plans.
• Integrate security baselines for firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, operating systems, BYOD, and related technologies.
• Support security governance, product strategy, certification processes, and corrective actions across the system development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of NHS and healthcare environments, clinical data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of infrastructure, architecture, operating systems, technology design, troubleshooting, and implementation.
• Experience with AI and machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, DevOps coding, and network or systems technologies.
• CISSP certification is essential.
• ISSAP is highly preferred; CISM, GIAC, Cisco, Microsoft SC100, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
