Location: 90 Refinery Road, Corio, Australia; primarily office-based

What you will do
- Lead the refinery on-stream piping inspection program in accordance with AS 3788 and integrity management requirements.
- Manage and improve the integrity inspection database, maintaining accurate and complete inspection records.
- Analyse inspection, corrosion monitoring, thickness measurement, and condition assessment data to identify risks and degradation trends.
- Develop risk-based inspection strategies and provide engineering recommendations for repair, replacement, and asset management.
- Support inspection teams, refinery shutdowns, turnarounds, breakdown events, and inspection planning.
- Collaborate with Inspection, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability teams on asset integrity outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in refining, petrochemical, oil and gas, or another continuous process industry.
- Experience with pressure piping integrity management and inspection programs.
- Strong understanding of refinery piping degradation mechanisms and corrosion processes.
- Working knowledge of AS 3788, API 570, API 571, API 579, API 580, and relevant pressure equipment regulations.
- Full working rights for employment in Australia are required.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting refinery shutdowns and turnaround inspection activities.
- API 570 Piping Inspector Certification.
- API 580 Risk-Based Inspection Certification.
- AMPP or NACE Corrosion Certification.
