Compliance Analyst (Onboarding) - Sydney | Melbourne

Location: Hybrid in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they work.

What you will do

• Perform AML and KYC checks for corporate clients, including identity collection and verification.
• Screen clients against politically exposed person and sanctions lists.
• Complete client due diligence searches and maintain accurate KYC records.
• Verify client data against supporting documentation before entering it into internal systems.
• Manage the compliance case load, track completion with business owners, and resolve escalated issues.
• Monitor the KYC mailbox and complete additional compliance tasks as required.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML, or KYC, preferably in fintech, payments, or banking.
• Experience with compliance databases and screening tools.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Right to work in the Australian jurisdiction where the role is based.
• Availability to work outside normal hours when required.
