What you will do

• Maintain and improve the compliance obligations register, mapping NCCP Act, ASIC, AML/CTF, and Privacy Act requirements.
• Design and execute rolling compliance monitoring and testing plans across credit origination, servicing, and collections.
• Manage the breach and incident register, performing root cause analysis and managing reportable situations under RG 78.
• Oversee the AML/CTF Program, including customer due diligence and AUSTRAC reporting requirements.
• Support the Risk Council and Board by preparing clear risk reporting, papers, and maintaining action registers.
• Design and deliver role-based compliance training for Credit Operations, Sales, and Customer Care teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within consumer lending or financial services.
• Sound working knowledge of the NCCP Act, ASIC Regulatory Guides, AML/CTF Act, and Privacy Act.
• Experience with AFCA processes, complaints handling, and breach/incident management.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory obligations into practical, workable controls.
• Experience preparing high-level reporting for senior management or Board-level audiences.
• Must be based in Sydney to support the hybrid work arrangement.
