Client Services Officer (Asset Management)

Location: Melbourne, Australia; hybrid arrangement with 2 days in the Melbourne CBD office and 3 days from home

What you will do

• Respond to enquiries from institutional clients, financial advisers, and high net worth investors about fund performance, statements, and transactions.
• Manage client onboarding, including subscription and redemption documentation and AML/KYC requirements.
• Prioritise client service inboxes and maintain accurate client and account records in Salesforce.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, and Fund Accounting to resolve settlement issues, cash reconciliations, and other operational matters.
• Prepare client reports, presentations, marketing materials, product dashboards, and internal committee reporting.
• Support website updates, fund collateral, client meetings, events, and investor functions.

Requirements

• Degree in economics, finance, business, or a similar field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial services, funds management, wealth management, client service, distribution support, or a related environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a motivated, energetic environment.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Genuine interest in financial markets and investment products.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.
• Rural background or a connection to farming.
