What you will do

• Lead the engineering, design, and development of new products, product changes, manufacturing processes, and equipment.
• Develop, configure, troubleshoot, and support processing and test equipment for medical device manufacturing.
• Create production and R&D drawings, product design specifications, engineering protocols, lab notebooks, and reports.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects and guide other engineers while providing technical support across departments.
• Research vendors and integrate new technologies into current and future products and processes.
• Investigate problems, determine root causes and corrective actions, interpret test results, and train engineers, technicians, and assemblers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, plus 4+ years of engineering experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Detailed knowledge of GMP, Quality System Regulations, and clean room environment practices.
• Knowledge of engineering and scientific principles with strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.
• High proficiency with computers and software applications.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in Roseville, California.
• Ability to work in office, laboratory, and clean room environments, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

• Master’s degree.
• Experience supervising, selecting, training, and developing staff.
