Software Developer for Test Frameworks Frontend Services (M/W/D) [26097]

Location: Manching, Germany; onsite role. Applicants must be EU citizens or eligible to obtain a German work permit.

What you will do

• Design and develop software for test and simulation frameworks using C++.
• Develop graphical user interface elements for the Test and Simulation Framework.
• Design, implement, and independently execute unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to virtual engineering combining simulations with real hardware.
• Provide second-level rig support for AIDASS, MaTE, and the SI² simulation framework.
• Support customer application development, system testing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT or information systems.
• Understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and system programming concepts.
• Programming experience in C++, including exposure to modern C++ standards.
• Familiarity with Git and willingness to learn Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP.
• Fluency in English and German; applicants must be EU citizens or eligible to obtain a work permit for Germany.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another European language.
• Experience with cross-platform development and distributed systems.
• Awareness of Scrum or Kanban practices.
