Senior Safety Officer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and ISO-compliant systems.
• Ensure compliance with legal, customer, and internal EHS requirements.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and improvement plans.
• Oversee contractor safety, chemical management, emergency preparedness, and plantwide security.
• Plan and conduct emergency drills and business continuity exercises.
• Lead EHS inspections, audits, continuous improvement projects, and technical support for operations and engineering.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Degree in safety and health, sciences, environmental studies, or engineering.
• Green Book holder with mandatory SHO qualification.
• Knowledge of Malaysian EHS laws and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
