Software Engineer III (Rust)

Location: Gurugram, India; ability to relocate and work from the office at least four days per week

What you will do

• Contribute to initiatives that automate and manage the global production environment.
• Build frontend and backend applications, stream-processing solutions, microservices, and database-backed products.
• Design and improve solutions for trading infrastructure and operational challenges with cross-functional technical teams.
• Participate in the developer on-call rotation to support production systems and maintain reliability.
• Write technical documentation, define specifications, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Required: strong proficiency in Rust; experience with Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, relational and non-relational databases, web technologies, full-stack development, bare-metal environments, automation, and application deployment.
• Experience with distributed systems, Kafka, data pipelines, microservices, infrastructure-as-code concepts, and large-scale 24/7 production environments.
• Ability to relocate and work from the office at least four days per week.
