Senior Analyst, Operational Risk & Controls

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of the Operational Risk Management Framework across the Australian business.
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments and conduct targeted risk assessments with business stakeholders.
• Perform control testing and walkthroughs to evaluate control design and effectiveness.
• Monitor operational incidents, risk issues, audit findings, and remediation activities.
• Support third-party risk management, business continuity activities, and maintenance of risk and control documentation.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and Key Risk Indicator reporting for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in operational risk, risk and controls, compliance, internal audit, or a related discipline within financial services.
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, including RCSAs, control testing, and issue management.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in market making, proprietary trading, algorithmic trading, or another capital markets environment is strongly preferred.
