Continuous Improvement Engineer (Biogas)

Location: Remote from the United States, with preference for candidates residing in AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or WV. Requires periodic travel to operating facilities nationwide, estimated at 50%, and work in heavy industrial plant environments.

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually, plus a bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Lead fleet-wide continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop operational scorecards, KPIs, dashboards, morning reporting systems, and performance reports.
• Analyze operational losses, asset capability, energy consumption, and variable operating costs.
• Identify performance gaps against production plans and drive corrective improvement actions.
• Lead constraint management, debottlenecking, benchmarking, and operational optimization across facilities.
• Standardize best operating practices and support reliability, mechanical integrity, risk management, and unplanned event reduction programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of process improvement experience in RNG, oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, or comparable industrial operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, operational performance, and financial trend analysis skills.
• Experience using AI tools to support operational improvement and economic modeling.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across Operations, Reliability, Process Engineering, and Controls.
• Ability to travel 50% or more and work in heavy industrial plant environments.
