Senior Professional Engineer, Structural

Location: Seattle, Washington; hybrid schedule with office attendance Tuesday through Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday

What you will do

• Design structural systems for facilities projects across the Pacific Northwest.
• Prepare structural calculations, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Develop drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate structural work with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and other project disciplines.
• Perform model reviews, clash detection, condition assessments, site visits, and field verifications.
• Lead or support projects from planning and design through construction administration, including client and contractor coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license, or ability and commitment to obtain Washington SE licensure within one year of hire.
• Five or more years of structural design experience supporting facilities projects.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and precast structural systems.
• Proficiency with RISA-3D and/or RAM Structural System, plus working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer registration in multiple states.
• Structural Engineer licensure in Washington, Oregon, and/or California.
• Project management, client relationship, fee proposal, and RFP experience.
