Cockpit Displays System Designer (Aerospace)

hirify.global develops commercial aircraft and advanced aerospace systems, including cockpit and avionics technologies.

What you will do

• Contribute to the convergence of functional requirements for cockpit display systems.
• Deliver technical specifications and system interface documents in coordination with connected functions and systems.
• Drive the development process, including supplier reviews, laboratory and aircraft testing, verification, validation, and certification.
• Coordinate technical data and documentation with subcontractors and the hirify.global Flight Test Center.
• Collaborate with system architects, safety specialists, certification teams, physical installation and wiring teams, pilots, and flight-test engineers.
• Support safety analysis and introduce new cockpit technologies such as head-mounted displays and tactile interfaces.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong interest in cockpit or avionics systems development.
• Good knowledge of hardware and software design and IT.
• Analytical, synthesis, organizational, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented working style.
• Fluent English required; the role is based in Toulouse, France.

Nice to have

• Experience with Confluence, Jira, or Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of Agile program management, including SAFe.
