Ground Segment Engineer (m/f)

hirify.global develops and operates aerospace and satellite systems, including Earth observation and telecommunications ground segments.

What you will do

• Interface with the Flight Director to prioritize and organize Control Ground Segment activities across multiple satellite projects.
• Analyze and qualify operational ground anomalies.
• Maintain internal Control Ground Segment subsystems supporting five satellite fleets.
• Prepare and validate software deliveries and update associated test environments.
• Generate and upgrade operational procedures and support ground and on-board software specifications.
• Act as a controller interface and participate in on-call duty, typically once a month.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of Linux, scripting, configuration management, Git, and GitLab.
• Knowledge of functional interfaces and functional chains.
• Advanced French and English required.
• Security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ansible and Jenkins.
• Experience building technical proposals and presenting complex problems and solutions.
