Technical Analyst Sr (Financial Services)

Location: Toronto, Canada, at 483 Bay Street until approximately late 2026, then at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Flexible working arrangements include 100% remote, hybrid, and in-office options. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Annual total cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus: CAD $123,000–$158,000.

What you will do

• Lead development teams across assigned projects and coordinate delivery activities.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare project estimates with technical resources.
• Coordinate system design, development, deployment, code review, integration, and application support.
• Design efficient applications that meet corporate quality standards and improve development methodologies.
• Work with application and development managers to maintain application availability and support.
• Coach and mentor technical team members.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including strong relational database and modern application development expertise.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with relational databases and at least 5 years developing web applications with Java, .NET, or Angular.
• Experience with Java, TypeScript, Angular, .NET, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, enterprise services, and the full SDLC.
• Experience developing applications in the mutual fund, investment management, or financial services industry.
• Strong communication, planning, analytical, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
