SCOF Systems Implementation and Test Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and document integration plans and processes for spacecraft ground-control software and systems.
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, and cases for Spacecraft Control Centre software and systems.
• Administer System Reference Model test facilities and supporting computer systems.
• Perform functional, performance, integration, and regression testing across flight software, ground-segment software, and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and mission operations teams.
• Provide technical support during critical mission phases, including launch and in-orbit operations, while supporting formal reviews and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC/DV Security Clearance through the UK Intelligence Community process.
• Experience integrating and validating complex systems, preferably in the space or aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of Spacecraft Control Centre architectures and functionalities.
• Proficiency with Red Hat and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Windchill, SVN, or Git, and familiarity with defect tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
