Maintenance & Reliability Technician (Petrochemical)

What you will do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, visual inspections, and condition monitoring for pressure vessels, tanks, piping, rotating equipment, and civil structures.
• Analyze inspection data to improve asset integrity, reliability, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Raise SAP work orders, prepare repair procedures, and define NDT and hydrotest requirements.
• Maintain equipment inspection and maintenance records in the Asset Performance Management system.
• Coordinate third-party vendors and NDT companies and review inspection, ITP, NDT, and QC documentation.
• Respond to urgent plant reliability and integrity issues, including leaks, and verify that repairs meet applicable standards.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in a refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Experience with fixed equipment and piping inspection, repair, installation, welding inspection, and non-destructive testing.
• Strong safety awareness and experience with chemical plant safety, permit-to-work systems, and JSRA preparation.
• Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work across functional groups and resolve plant issues proactively.
