Earth Observation Ground Segment Maintenance Engineer (m/f) (Aerospace)

Location: Toulouse Area, France; occasional worldwide business travel is required.

What you will do

• Support Earth Observation export customers by troubleshooting issues and preparing workarounds.
• Perform maintenance visits and deployments at customer premises worldwide.
• Contribute to integration, verification, validation, acceptance, and regression testing.
• Prepare and deliver software versions and patches in line with schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Maintain documentation repositories and the team knowledge base.
• Propose improvements to ground-segment maintenance and support activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, engineering degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Up to 3 years of experience, including initial experience in software development or validation.
• Proficiency in Linux, Git, scripting, Python, and networking.
• Advanced French and English.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate in a team, support customer satisfaction, and travel worldwide when required.
• Security clearance is required, or eligibility for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Nice to have

• Functional knowledge of Control Ground Segment, Mission Ground Segment, or Image Ground Segment systems.
