What you will do
- Lead and optimize the end-to-end inbound warehouse process, including goods receiving, inspection, receipt, and inventory management.
- Translate warehouse targets into operational plans, staffing levels, schedules, workflows, and measurable production goals.
- Manage department performance and KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements to warehouse leadership.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop receiving inspectors across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
- Coordinate handoffs with Inventory, Outbound, Shipping, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive risk management, safety, compliance, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of leadership and people management experience.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, or order fulfillment.
- Strong knowledge of material management, warehouse and transportation operations, process governance, and quality management.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, preferably SAP R/3, materials management, and warehouse and transportation management systems.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and change leadership skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of aerospace aftermarket, customer service, or aviation after-sales operations.
- Experience with aviation-specific compliance standards and quality processes.
