Principal AI Search & Conversation Architect (AskOle)

Location: Austin, Texas, USA; the role requires some travel.

hirify.global is building AskOle and OleOle, AI-powered travel and football platforms combining conversational commerce, social networking, real-time translation, payments, content, and mini programs.

What you will do

• Architect the AI orchestration layer for conversational search and commerce.
• Design systems that understand intent, gather information, execute multi-step tasks, and maintain conversational context.
• Integrate ticketing, hotel, airline, restaurant, transportation, mapping, weather, review, and other real-time APIs.
• Build ranking, recommendation, personalization, retrieval, memory, and response-generation capabilities.
• Define technical vision and architectural standards for LLMs, agents, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and AI evaluation.
• Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with principal architects across infrastructure, payments, blockchain, messaging, mini programs, and platform services.

Requirements

• Production-scale AI platform architecture experience serving large numbers of users.
• Principal Engineer, Chief Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, AI agents, multi-agent systems, RAG, semantic search, conversational AI, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with distributed cloud-native systems, high availability, low latency, recommendation engines, ranking, and personalization.
• Hands-on experience integrating complex third-party APIs and multiple real-time data sources.
• Ability to lead senior engineering teams, mentor architects, establish standards, and make long-term technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, open-source language models, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, DSPy, vector databases, graph databases, and modern AI infrastructure.
• Understanding of football and international sports.
