Junior Electrical Engineer / Design Responsible (d/f/m)

What you will do

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into specifications for electrical subsystems and equipment.
• Ensure technical consistency and integration between equipment and subsystem levels.
• Develop technical concepts and conduct trade-off analyses balancing technical performance and cost.
• Create electrical interface documentation and technical budgets in line with ECSS space standards.
• Prepare, lead, and support SRR, PDR, CDR, QR, and FAR design reviews and evaluate equipment verification closeouts.
• Manage technical interfaces, risks, progress meetings, negotiations, and program coordination with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical, telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline, with practical experience in electrical engineering design.
• Expertise in analogue and power design, digital design, or space-related communication networks.
• Negotiation-level English and a solid command of German are required.
• Structured, proactive, hands-on working style with strong time-management and communication skills.
• Flexibility, creativity, willingness to travel, and the ability to pass security checks and meet potential nationality restrictions are required.
