Focus on designing and delivering workshops, developing application data and reference workflows, and supporting customers across the EMEA region through frequent travel.
Location: Austria — remote, with regular travel across the EMEA region

What you will do
- Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support through on-site and virtual demonstrations, customer training, and workflow optimization.
- Plan and support workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions focused on electron microscopy sample preparation.
- Act as a technical and scientific bridge between customers, Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and R&D.
- Contribute scientific content to webinars, conferences, workshops, and promotional materials.
- Develop application data, success stories, and reference workflows for the commercial organization.
- Document customer activities, demonstrations, and training accurately in CRM systems such as SFDC.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with electron microscopy sample preparation, including cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy, coating, or freeze-fracture workflows.
- Technical and conversational English proficiency required.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently across EMEA, including up to 40–50% travel and overnight stays.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work in laboratory and customer environments and handle standard demonstration equipment.
Nice to have
- Experience with light microscopy workflows.
- Customer-facing experience supporting complex scientific instrumentation or workflows.
- Experience with CRM systems, virtual demonstration tools, marketing activities, webinars, conference presentations, or application notes.
- Additional European languages, particularly German.
