Summer 2027 Corporate Intern: Sam's Club Merchandising

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite at Sam's Home Office

Salary: $21.00–$40.00 per hour; paid internship with housing assistance.

Sam's Club is developing future retail leaders through hands-on merchandising experience within Walmart Inc.

What you will do

• Lead a 10-week capstone project addressing a real merchandising challenge.
• Analyze data, financial metrics, and member insights to develop actionable recommendations.
• Develop and execute a solution that creates value for Sam's Club members.
• Collaborate with merchants, planners, and replenishment teams.
• Present project outcomes and insights to senior leadership.
• Participate in executive speaker sessions, networking events, and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior with graduation expected in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restrictions at the time of application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Foundation in financial management, adaptability, curiosity, and interest in retail merchandising.

Nice to have

• Major in business, supply chain, operations, finance, or a related field.
• Interest in responsibly using generative AI and other emerging technologies for research, analysis, problem-solving, and productivity.
