Spring 2027 – Test Engineering Internship

What you will do

• Collaborate with test engineers to execute functional, digital signal integrity, and power converter control loop tests in the electronics lab.
• Support test architectures and systems, including equipment selection, fixtures, data logging, and interfaces.
• Assemble complex test setups with design engineers and technicians.
• Execute prototype, qualification, and acceptance testing for phased array systems and components.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze test data, and identify trends and process improvements.
• Support inspections, testing, quality control, and root cause analysis for non-conforming products.

Requirements

• Must be eligible under United States Government Space Technology Export Regulations as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or other protected individual, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's engineering program at an accredited institution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities, and take on new responsibilities.
• Available for on-site work at an Austin, Texas facility.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, or vector signal analyzers.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, LabVIEW, SQL, MATLAB, or Embedded C.
• Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware, including amplifiers, filters, ADCs/DACs, and antennas.
