MBA Summer Associate Corporate Strategy (Corporate Strategy)

Location: Irving, Texas, USA; 12-week, full-time internship from late May to mid-August

What you will do

• Own an assigned corporate strategy project from kickoff through recommendation development and presentation to senior leadership.
• Analyze consumers, customers, markets, competitors, products, brands, and business opportunities using internal and external databases.
• Build scenario models and develop insights for new go-to-market strategies, distribution channels, and business approaches.
• Collaborate with marketing, innovation, consumer insights, category management, R&D, supply chain, and other functions.
• Produce actionable recommendations through PowerPoint presentations and Excel financial models.
• Gain exposure to company operations through bakery visits, sales and delivery route rides, and retailer market tours.

Requirements

• First-year MBA student
• Availability for a 12-week, full-time position from late May to mid-August
• 3+ years of work experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, communication, and results-oriented skills.
• Comfort working independently and cross-functionally in ambiguous or changing situations.
• Ability to use spreadsheets and databases, manage multiple workstreams, and present analysis and recommendations to senior executives.

Nice to have

• Experience in management consulting, strategic planning, corporate strategy, finance, operations, supply chain, commercial or growth strategy, market research, or project management.
• Experience with consumer-packaged goods and/or large retailers.
