What you will do
- Manage and grow client relationships by executing investment and wealth strategies.
- Evaluate client needs and develop investment policy statements, asset allocations, portfolios, and financial plans.
- Implement client investment strategies and monitor portfolio performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and acquire referrals from clients, Centers of Influence, and partners.
- Support business plans and achieve business development, revenue, referral, retention, and compliance targets.
- Participate in client and prospect seminars and collaborate with wealth management resources.
Requirements
- Current accreditation and good standing as a Registered Representative with CIRO Investment Dealer.
- Hold or plan to pursue the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Investment Manager designations.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma.
- Preferably 6 or more years of professional experience in the investment industry.
- Strong relationship-building, client service, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
