Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Aerospace)

Location: Houston, United States; onsite work at the Spaceport location

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, document, and properly store incoming deliveries using the company ERP system.
• Load, unload, handle, and transport palletized and unpalletized items using lift gates, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Prepare critical flight hardware, hazardous materials, and Government Furnished Property for shipment in compliance with labeling, packaging, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records, correspondence, physical verifications, and cyclic inventories.
• Review daily workloads, troubleshoot discrepancies, and communicate priorities, progress, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain an orderly work area and follow safety protocols, operating procedures, and material-handling instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and customer service.
• Ability to solve problems proactively, stay organized, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and use systems and tools effectively.
• Eligibility for access to export-controlled technical data or technology may require additional U.S. export control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR; meeting the requirements is a condition of employment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for critical project milestones; ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
