RCM Client Billing Manager (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end client billing for diagnostic laboratory services, from invoice submission through final resolution.
• Oversee disputed, pending, and aging invoice balances and drive corrective action.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external billing vendors to resolve complex issues and improve reimbursement outcomes.
• Monitor invoice inventory, accounts receivable performance, service levels, and operational metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Client Billing team while managing productivity, quality, and reimbursement performance.
• Coordinate billing-system implementations, upgrades, workflow improvements, reporting, policies, procedures, and training materials.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or equivalent related experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in laboratory billing, insurance claims, client billing, or revenue cycle management.
• Strong understanding of insurance claim processes, healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of service requirements, adjudication processes, dispute management, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Strong critical-thinking skills for identifying root causes, resolving complex issues, and implementing solutions.
