Staff Data Scientist (Content Growth & Creator Strategy)

Location: US Remote; participation in in-person events and relationship-building activities may be expected.

Salary: $190,000–$283,000 annualized, with the range determined by geographic location; meaningful equity grant also offered.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end data science for emerging content surfaces including Video, Groups, and Events.
• Design and measure standard and non-standard experiments to guide feature decisions.
• Develop exploratory analyses and strategic insights to identify opportunities in content supply, creator contribution, discovery, and engagement.
• Build scalable metrics, dashboards, and source-of-truth data assets for product decision-making.
• Own data architecture and quality requirements across creators, viewers, entities, content types, and surfaces.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Distribution, and Analytics Engineering.

Requirements

• Staff-level Data Scientist or Tech Lead experience, ideally in social media or consumer technology.
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Statistics.
• Expertise in non-randomized A/B testing, network experimentation, advanced causal inference, and bias controls.
• Experience owning product analytics from opportunity identification and strategy through feature launch and measurement.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Python, including numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, and common data science tools.
• Strong communication, autonomous technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
