TL;DR
Manager, Data and Analytics (SQL/BI): Designing reporting, dashboards, and data quality processes for KIPP schools, students, educators, and families with an accent on actionable analysis, data accessibility, and stakeholder communication. Focus on cleaning and analyzing data, developing business and technical requirements, and supporting reliable data collection and verification across the KIPP network.

Location: United States; full-time remote work is available, with optional access to KIPP Foundation offices in New York City and Chicago. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Salary: $83,200–$99,000 per year

What you will do

  • Design and execute reporting and quantitative analyses across KIPP academic, talent, and leadership initiatives.
  • Clean, compile, and analyze data to generate actionable insights for program teams and network stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, visualizations, and other products that make data accessible to non-technical audiences.
  • Support data collection, quality assurance, verification, and data warehousing initiatives.
  • Communicate findings through memos, written reports, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Provide data support for grant submissions, secondary research, ad-hoc requests, network events, and team equity initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in quantitative reporting and analysis, data management, and quality assurance.
  • Experience with SQL or programming/statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS, or Stata.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presenting data to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with data quality assurance processes and a customer-service approach to supporting program teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Information Technology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, plus a commitment to racial and educational equity.

Nice to have

  • Experience in K-12 or higher education.
  • Experience with statistical methods.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Zendesk, or similar technologies.
  • Advanced degree.
