Special Security Support Technician: Information Security

Salary: $100,000–$104,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the agency-wide Information Security Program, including classification, declassification, security education, and training.
• Draft, review, and maintain standard operating procedures in accordance with DCSA guidance.
• Support automatic and mandatory declassification programs and establish procedures for review requests.
• Develop, coordinate, and publish security and counterintelligence policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Review security classification guides and classification marking packages for compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct preliminary inquiries and track potential data spills, infractions, violations, and SPOT Reports using CATMS, ServiceNow, and other systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category.
• 3–10 years of relevant analytical experience, including experience gained within the last 2 years.
• Work is associated with the Quantico, Virginia location.
