Business Operations Manager (SIOP)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States. Candidates must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.

Salary: $133,580–$212,160 USD per year, with level-based ranges of $133,580–$183,680 for S06 and $154,300–$212,160 for S07.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the monthly SIOP process, including inputs, scenario analysis, decisions, and downstream budgeting and capital-planning inputs.
• Facilitate structured business reviews aligning Sales, Programs, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into repeatable data, reporting, and process structures.
• Develop trusted dashboards, KPIs, and data-governance processes for leadership decision-making.
• Partner with data science, digital, and AI/automation teams to improve planning systems, analytics, reporting, and automation.
• Lead cross-functional process improvements, requirements definition, software implementation, change management, and adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, S&OP/SIOP, program management, supply chain, production planning, engineering operations, or related cross-functional leadership roles.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, medical devices, or other technology-intensive sectors.
• Hands-on data query and analysis skills using SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience designing and implementing operational processes, supporting budgeting, forecasting, or capex decisions, and leading data-driven cross-functional projects.
• Ability to partner with software engineering and AI/ML teams, scope requirements, evaluate tools, and assess feasibility and tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP/MRP and planning or analytics platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of forecasting, capacity planning, inventory optimization, lead-time management, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience in hardware technology environments where physical production constraints intersect with software and data-driven decisions.
