Senior Business Analytics Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA

Salary: $132,000–$235,950 annual base salary for U.S.-based roles; offers may exceed this range and may include bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end analytics and AI-enabled workflow initiatives for Go-to-Market Finance.
• Improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management through data, automation, and AI.
• Design scalable data products, including pipelines, tables, dashboards, reporting layers, and AI-ready datasets.
• Prototype finance workflows such as automated narratives, anomaly detection, variance explanation, forecast-driver analysis, and natural-language insight discovery.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Data Engineering, Finance Systems, and business operations to move prototypes into governed production solutions.
• Standardize KPI frameworks, communicate recommendations to senior leadership, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, strategic finance, BizOps, data science, business intelligence, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.
• Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI and visualization platforms.
• Experience supporting Finance, Go-to-Market, planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate complex analysis clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or subscription-based business models and FP&A or Sales Finance.
• Python or other statistical tools for advanced analytics, modeling, or experimentation.
• Experience applying machine learning or generative AI to forecasting, anomaly detection, automated narratives, or decision-support tools.
• Experience designing AI-ready data products, semantic layers, metric stores, governed datasets, or predictive models.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including human-in-the-loop review, explainability, data quality, and governance.
