What you will do

• Serve as the primary EHS contact for Helios data center operations and implement site EHS standards, policies, and practices.
• Manage, mentor, and provide technical oversight to the campus EHS Engineers.
• Manage programs covering LOTO, confined space entry, fall protection, hot work, HazCom/GHS, and electrical safety under OSHA 1910.
• Oversee environmental compliance, including hazardous waste, stormwater, air permits, and spill prevention.
• Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks, maintain records, and lead incident and near-miss investigations.
• Lead emergency planning and drills, prepare monthly metrics, manage the EHS budget, and track corrective actions to closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, safety, environmental science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may substitute.
• 3–6 years of EHS experience, including at least 2 years managing EHS programs in an industrial, critical-facility, or logistics environment.
• Working knowledge of US federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence frontline supervisors and operations teams.
• CSP or ASP certification, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and OSHA 30-hour certification are strongly preferred.
