Senior Systems Engineer (LCAP Governance Assistant)

Location: Kearneysville, West Virginia, United States; hybrid position

Salary: $106,000–$136,000 annually

What you will do

• Help define enterprise SaaS governance policies, standards, and lifecycle processes.
• Establish and maintain a centralized catalog of approved low-code applications, including ownership, business intent, data classification, and risk profiles.
• Lead intake and evaluation of new SaaS requests across security, compliance, legal, and operational support reviews.
• Track, monitor, and evaluate cybersecurity requests and Authority to Operate artifacts with ISSOs and ISSEs.
• Define and enforce role-based access control, least-privilege principles, and user provisioning and deprovisioning automation.
• Track system-level costs and report user statistics and platform capacity.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in IT-related roles.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Jira.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, collaborate across technical and leadership groups, and apply strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• High school diploma with 9+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Public Trust clearance required.

Nice to have

• LCAP or SaaS experience in the federal government.
• Experience leading engineering teams or serving as a primary technical liaison in a multi-vendor environment.
• Familiarity with USCG Software Yard pipelines, Capability Development Division benchmarks, or shared data systems.
