Tax Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly and annual income tax, VAT, and withholding returns.
• Review the tax treatment of financial income, fees, leases, and other banking products.
• Oversee tax withholdings for vendors and clients and review incoming CFDIs for compliance, deductibility, and payment methods.
• Reconcile accrued and recognized income for tax reporting.
• Build tax defense files, document internal tax positions, and support SAT and CNBV audits.
• Assist with transfer pricing compliance and advise on new financial products and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–6 years of tax experience, preferably in banking or a Big Four firm serving the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation and applicable banking regulations.
• Proficiency with SAT platforms, tax withholdings, and tax-accounting reconciliations.
• Availability for office-based work in Mexico.
