Pilot (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas 70% of the time, except when traveling; 30% domestic and international travel required.

What you will do

• Deliver ground school instruction and advanced flight training to customer personnel.
• Train and evaluate transition and recurrent students on normal, abnormal, and emergency helicopter procedures.
• Conduct production test flights, ferry missions, customer deliveries, and demonstration flights.
• Maintain training manuals, courseware, curricula, classroom materials, and flight documentation.
• Prepare risk assessments, flight plans, flight logs, and post-flight reports while ensuring FAA and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate flight results with Quality Assurance, Flight Line, Flight Operations, customers, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person or authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this US position.
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of flight experience.
• At least 2,000 helicopter Pilot-In-Command hours, including at least 500 hours in turbine-powered helicopters, plus 100 flight hours within the last 12 calendar months.
• FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate, commercial helicopter license, IFR rating, and helicopter Certified Flight Instructor rating.
• Ability to conduct night flight training, operate company aircraft, maintain FAA certificates and medical requirements, and interpret technical drawings, data, and specifications.
• Ability to work with translators in the classroom and cockpit and travel independently on short notice.

Nice to have

• BS/BA degree or higher.
• Flight experience in hirify.global helicopters and 1,000 hours of multi-engine helicopter time.
• Experience with night vision goggles, ATP certification, and CFII certification.
• Spanish proficiency.
