Maternal Child Didactic Visiting Professor (part-time/remote)

Location: Remote, United States

Compensation: $715–$1,950 per earned credit hour, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing content through clinical instruction and, when assigned, supervised didactic teaching.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate students providing nursing care.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade coursework and provide timely, documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Provide student remediation and address student or clinical agency concerns with the course coordinator.
• Contribute to program development, assessment, retention efforts, and college operations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Unencumbered Illinois RN licensure required.
• At least two years of direct patient-care experience in maternal-child nursing or the assigned clinical specialty.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and prudent judgment.
• Ability to collaborate with administration, staff, faculty, students, and clinical agencies.
