IT Systems Engineer (Endpoint Management)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Colorado, with 3 days in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; candidates must live and be authorized to work full-time in the United States. A relocation bonus is available for candidates moving to Denver.

Base compensation: $100,000–$110,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Administer Jamf Pro for macOS/iOS and Microsoft Intune for Windows, including enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and OS update cycles.
• Implement zero-touch provisioning with Apple Business Manager, Platform SSO, and Windows Autopilot, while supporting identity and authentication workflows.
• Build security baselines and hardening configurations, remediate findings against CIS and SCUBA benchmarks, and support security monitoring and audit evidence collection.
• Develop Bash, Python, Swift, and PowerShell automation for patching, packaging, self-remediation, device lifecycle management, and workflow version control in Git.
• Own fleet provisioning, refreshes, recovery, secure offboarding, application deployment, and asset management integrations.
• Provide Tier 3 endpoint incident escalation, root-cause analysis, documentation, runbooks, training, and support for endpoint-adjacent services.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, systems administration, or IT operations in mixed Mac and Windows environments.
• Production experience with both Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune; deep expertise in one platform with working competence in the other is acceptable.
• Proficiency in at least one of PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Swift, with willingness to work with the others.
• Working knowledge of enterprise identity providers, preferably Okta, including conditional access and device compliance.
• Experience with patch management, OS update strategy, zero-touch provisioning, Autopilot, and Apple Business Manager/DEP.
• Kanban or Agile experience, ticket-driven operations, strong written and verbal communication, and effective prioritization.
