What you will do

• Conduct and oversee complex secondary market research using diverse sources, methodologies, and datasets.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights for business decisions and go-to-market strategies.
• Develop research proposals, project plans, data specifications, documentation, and final reports.
• Present findings and provide strategic consulting to internal partners and business leaders.
• Manage timelines, resources, data quality, and multiple research projects with limited oversight.
• Lead engagements and coach or manage research staff when assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of market research or related experience; 6 or more years preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership or management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, mathematics, psychology, anthropology, or a comparable analytical field.
• Advanced knowledge of secondary research, including market sizing, competitive intelligence, trends analysis, and economic or financial analysis.
• Ability to analyze multiple disparate datasets, assess data credibility, and derive research recommendations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of business or insurance concepts is required.

Nice to have

• MBA, Master of Research, or another advanced degree.
• Financial services or property and casualty insurance experience.
